Market opened to good demand. Good and Best sorts are selling at irregular levels around last. Medium and Plainer teas are irregular following quality.




Good demand seen for nominal quantity of clean, well-made Whole Leaf and Brokens. Remainder Whole Leaf and Brokens irregular and at times lower. Cleaner Secondaries irregular around last. Browner, stalkier sorts experiencing subdued demand and witnessing outlots.




MARKET OPENED TO GOOD DEMAND. VERY NOMINAL WEIGHT OF NEW SEASON TEAS WERE ON OFFER. BEST SORTS SOLD 450+, GOOD CATEGORY SOLD 350+, MEDIUMS SOLD 300+. OLD SEASON TEAS SOLD AS PER QUALITY.




Market opened to strong demand for New season Garden teas which were readily absorbed at dearer levels. Nominal quantity of BLF and Old season seen so far, selling at irregular levels following quality.
