MARKET OPENED TO FAIR DEMAND. ALL SORTS EASIER.
Market opened to good demand. New season teas on offer witnessed good competition and sold at levels similar to last. TGFOP1 sold in the range of Rs 420-470 and TGFOP Rs 350- 410. GFOP met with better competition and sold between Rs 350-390 while bolder Whole leaf sold around last levels. Larger Brokens sold similar to last week while GBOP witnessed better demand and sold between Rs 280-320. BPS sold in the range of Rs 380-410. Nominal quantities of leafy fannings sold at levels lower than last week. Old season teas on offer sold in line with quality.
Market opened to good demand. Nominal quantity of Assam and Dooars Estate on offer, meeting with strong demand. Cleaner, blacker Dooars BLF witnessed good enquiry from local/domestic market while remaining teas selling in line with quality.
